"ROMANZA" - by: Michael Gunadi Widjaja

"ROMANZA"
Oleh: Michael Gunadi Widjaja

Romanza, sebuah kisah cinta.

Kisah cinta banyak dimanifestasikan manusia.

Vivaldi 's "RAIN OF TEARS" - Arrangement for Guitar Piano Duo

 Vivaldi's "RAIN OF TEARS"
Arrangement for Guitar Piano Duo
by Michael Gunadi Widjaja & Jelia Megawati Heru

RAIN OF TEARS
Standing in the rain,
standing all afraid,
who knows how to cure all my pain?

I drop these tears because I fear,
even though this rain is trying to make me clear,
for this moment is silent and now I hear,
the pain that managed to last all this year.

You were not there to see my pain.
I will never see love quite the same.
The rain drops to the ground,
like tears from my heart falling without a sound.

My eyes still shine bright,
but I still have this will to fight,
even to this great height.

My Love...
If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again

"RAIN of TEARS"
Sento in seno ch'in pioggia di lagrime
(I feel within a rain of tears)
from: Tieteberga and Il Giustino

Duo Guitar Piano for Astor Piazzolla "OBLIVION"

Duo Guitar Piano
Astor Piazzolla "OBLIVION"
Arr. Michael Gunadi Widjaja

ABOUT ASTOR PIAZZOLLA "OBLIVION"

Astor Piazzolla's Oblivion was composed in 1982 as a chamber ensemble.
This piece was one of Astor Piazzolla's most famous Tangos,
and it became mostly popular when it was released
on the soundtrack of Marco Bellochio's film Henry IV, the Mad King.

It's one of the most famous Tango work ever done by Astor Piazzolla, and remains one of his best.
It's a wonderful Tango that inspires many people,
and is full of strong emotion and beautiful melodies.
It's the elegance and inspiration all wrapped up into beautiful movements.

The melody is extremely melancholic and almost depressing.
With long notes and beautiful, alternating notes and elegant figures,
Oblivion is a song that spins a sad tale of love and woe.

"True silence is the rest of the mind;
it is to the spirit what sleep is to the body,
nourishment and refreshment.

And if tonight my soul may find peace in sleep,
and sink in good oblivion,
and in the morning  wake like a new opened flower"
